2004 Cleantech awards call for nominations announced

 

Cleantech Venture Network Opens Nominations for 2004 Cleantech Leader of the Year and Emerging Enterprise of the Year

  • Howell, MI – January 27, 2005 - Cleantech Venture Network LLC, an organization that
  • connects venture, corporate and institutional investors with “clean technology”
  • entrepreneurs, announced today the call for nominations for the 2004 Cleantech Awards.
  • The 2004 Cleantech Leader of the Year and Emerging Enterprise of the Year Awards will
  • be presented later this year at Cleantech Venture Forum VI in San Francisco, March 22-
  • 24.

  • “The Cleantech Venture Network is committed to supporting and cultivating the growth
  • of a cleantech community, particularly at the entrepreneurial and venture level. The
  • Cleantech Awards focus on companies and investors who are working everyday to effect
  • real change, while raising the profile of this rapidly growing category through

  • Venture Network. “The Cleantech Award series draws attention to the leaders that
  • initiate and catalyze new and exciting ideas in the cleantech area.”

  • The Cleantech Leader of the Year Award is given to the professional investor who has
  • shown exceptional leadership in adding credibility or resources to the cleantech venturing
  • field in 2004. The Cleantech Emerging Enterprise of the Year Award is given to the
  • company or CEO that has experienced rapid growth and/or provided a high realized
  • return to investors by bringing a clean technology or business model to market.

  • Nominations for the 2004 Cleantech Leader of the Year Award and Cleantech Emerging
  • Enterprise of the Year Award should be sent to nominations@cleantechventure.com by
  • Monday, February 28, 2005. Submissions should include no more than 200 words on the
  • reason for nomination as well as background information on the individual or
  • organization being nominated, including their current contact information. The Cleantech
  • Venture Network Advisory Board will make the final selections, which will be
  • announced at Cleantech Venture Forum VI in San Francisco.
