Zouk ventures today announces the appointment of Nobel Laureate Professor Robert H. Grubbs to the Cleantech industry advisory group

  • is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Robert H. Grubbs to the Industry Advisory
  • Group of the Cleantech Europe fund, an expansion stage technology fund focused on renewable
  • energy, emission reduction, energy storage and water technologies.

  • Professor Grubbs, is the Atkins Professor of Chemistry at the California Institute of Technology
  • (Caltech). In 2005 he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry along with Yves Chauvin and
  • Richard R. Schrock, for his work in the development of the metathesis method in organic synthesis.
  • Over a long and distinguished career Professor Grubbs has received many prestigious awards and
  • published over 400 papers. He also holds around 90 patents and is responsible for founding four
  • companies.
