is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Robert H. Grubbs to the Industry Advisory

Group of the Cleantech Europe fund, an expansion stage technology fund focused on renewable

energy, emission reduction, energy storage and water technologies.

Professor Grubbs, is the Atkins Professor of Chemistry at the California Institute of Technology
-
(Caltech). In 2005 he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry along with Yves Chauvin and
-
Richard R. Schrock, for his work in the development of the metathesis method in organic synthesis.

Over a long and distinguished career Professor Grubbs has received many prestigious awards and
-
published over 400 papers. He also holds around 90 patents and is responsible for founding four
-
companies.
