Cities as Catalysts of Cleantech Innovation:
With more than half the human population living in urban areas, cities have a critical role to play in creating and accelerating solutions for global environmental and resource challenges. While India has 25 of the world's fastest growing urban areas that contribute over 55% to India's GDP and urbanization, they are also becoming the largest consumers of finite natural resources and the biggest sources of pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
