Job Description:
The Director of Finance and Operations (possibly leading to a COO position) will be the first key hire under the direction of the founders and will be instrumental in building the company and in implementing processes and procedures. As this is an entrepreneurial environment, this position extends beyond traditional functions and we are looking for an individual who is proactive and has the ability to work independently. The Director will work with the founders to raise capital and develop all areas of the company and its finances, including development of budgets, forecasts, financial modeling, and sales and marketing strategies. This position will provide the Director with an immediate opportunity to build and develop organization processes and procedures to support the strategic direction. The Director of Finance and Operations will be responsible for managing all hands-on operational aspects and assisting the founders in the aggressive and successful growth of the Company. The Director will be a critical player in the development of the brand identity and product positioning as well as in the development of strategic partnerships with supply and distribution chain partners.

Candidate Professional Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have a minimum of an MBA from a top-tier institution. Candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of appropriate non-academic experience, ideally in an operational role. Experience in other clean tech areas or in development and construction will also be considered. Successful startup experience is highly valued.

Candidate Personal Qualifications:
In addition to sharing a passion for the promise of clean tech enterprises, successful candidates will have impeccable ethical standards, be independently-minded and capable of operating autonomously, and have the interpersonal and intellectual capability to interact successfully with senior executives inside RightFrame and its network. Candidates must possess superior networking and communication (written and verbal) skills, and demonstrate the ability to articulate insightful judgments regarding people, the home building industry, and sustainable technologies. Candidates must be willing to work long hours and travel occasionally.
