WINDPOWER 2008 in Houston, Texas

Organized by leaders in the wind energy industry and the American Wind Energy Association, the WINDPOWER 2008 Conference and Exhibition is North America’s largest annual event for wind energy.

The exhibition and conference will include over 750 companies from the wind energy industry, 300 speakers and moderators, 150 poster presentations and over 50 sessions on leading wind energy topics organized into tracks with policy, business and technical focuses.

Keynote speakers are to include Rick Perry, Governor of Texas, Kathleen Sebelius, Governor of Kansas, Bill White, Mayor of Houston, and Andy Karsner, U.S. Department of Energy.

This year WINDPOWER 2008 expects to draw over 9,000 visitors.
