I do not believe that U.S. Congressman Nick Rahall, a West Virginia Democrat who chairs the House Natural Resources Committee has the national interest at heart and should be replaced as soon as practically possible. To have a congressman against wind development to such a degree is not good for our country in that:
1. It prevents us from eventually becomming independent of fossil fuels.
2. It prevents us from developing clean energy resources.
3. It is poor judgement on the part of a politition who holds a high position of power and responsibility to his nation.
4. It is really a somewhat viscious attack on the very reasonableness of wind energy development for our country.
This type of legislation is little more than legal threats and bullying and should never have been introduced for consideration. I am wondering just who Congressman Nick Rahall really represents.
