Green Building - residential

Great article, appreciate that someone is starting look into industry-wide best (or not so best) practices.

My own experience with LEED and a green renovation of a residential building in Harlem has not left me feeling confident that the building trade will adapt quickly. From electricians telling me "Solar PV doesn't work" to a plumber refusing to accept that rainwater harvesting can be used for irrigation, it's tough out there!

LEED just simply doesn't work for non-gut renovations of residential homes. Regreen is a bit better.
