ERRA Incorporated (recently featured in cleantech.com's dealflow newsletter) ownes a proprietary patented nickel hydrogen battery that has already powered a car the size (but 1/2 the weight and 130% the crash strength) of a Ford Taurus, at highway speeds for over 350 miles on approx. $3.00 worth of electricity. This battery can be fully recharged in under 10 minutes, has a lower cost and longer life than other batteries.
