But wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to recycle the water in traditional plants? There are plenty of reclamation technologies that approach 100% water reclaim. Also, what's the heat source for the distillation process? Even if the unnamed solvent has a low boiling point, it's likely not a trivial amount of energy.
