There is only one battery which can do the job at present and could be a universally used product for all electric cars. The Altair Nanotechnologies Nanosafe battery. What this company is doing is beyond me, they have a wonderful product but seem to have terrible management and placement/marketing. I'm sure the oil companies and competitors like the big 3 are trying to stomp on it/marginalize it. Also, has anyone seen the Solectria car it got up to 375 miles per charge in the mid 1990's. We've been ripped off for many years, check out the Pogue carbeurator which gave over 100 miles per gallon in the 1930's.
