Today's Australia's EnviroMission announced it thinks it may have found a place to build its Solar Tower in the U.S.:

Pre-feasibility assessment of a site earmarked for Solar Tower development is underway on Native American land located in the tri-State region of Arizona, California and Nevada. EnviroMission, in collaboration with the Aha Macav Power Service (AMPS), is now gathering meteorological data for a pre-feasibility study to assess site viability for Solar Tower development within the reservation.
