Renewable power plant developer Laidlaw Energy Group, apparently oblivious to juvenile interpretations and fun-poking by its customers and the industry [ed.: not to mention certain journalists] issued a press release today characterizing its wood-to-energy initiatives as "clean woody biomass."
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Laidlaw Energy Group, Inc. (OTC: LLEG) announced today that it has launched a new web site, www.greenenergyfacts.com, to provide information on its development activities in the biomass energy sector. Aside from providing background information on the attributes of biomass energy, the initial focus of the web site will be to provide information to the public on the Laidlaw Energy’s Ellicottville, New York clean woody biomass project.
...
Laidlaw Energy’s Ellicottville, New York project involves the conversion of a natural gas fired power plant to utilize 100% clean woody biomass as its fuel source.

Maybe it's not such a bad thing. We can now have even more fun with this than we did with Free Willy.
Who gets credit? The PR folks, or a well-meaning executive?
