Overview
Cleantech Group, with the support of Silicon Valley Bank and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, invite industry professionals to the latest in its Power Breakfast series: Innovation in the Logistics Industry.
Successfully running since 2012, the Power Breakfast series is designed to give Bay Area cleantech leaders a platform for open and honest discussions about relevant topics.
Agenda
More goods will need to be transported to meet the demands of a growing population and changing consumer behavior. The logistics sector is at a pivotal point in transforming itself from what is currently a localized and fragmented process into a digital and streamlined one. Our panel will focus on the confluence of forces – Amazon & Alibaba, electrification & sustainability, digitalization & labor, autonomy & robotics, among others – that are changing the logistics industry.
What will be the rate of new technology adoption in various points along the logistics chain? And what ripple effects are they likely to have? What new business models are forming as a result of such new technologies? How and why are you and your firm investing today for that future?
Join us to explore how the logistics sector will change in the next 5-10 years.
