Case Studies
The Mission’s objective is to deliver, partner with, and advocate for initiatives to bolster New Zealand’s cleantech ecosystem. A key focus for the NZ Cleantech Mission is to support and promote local cleantech companies to help attract industry partners and offshore investment, both of which are lacking in New Zealand.
The NZ Cleantech Mission has leveraged Cleantech Forums, bringing cohorts of innovators to present and meet with investors and partners at Forums in Asia and North America. Strategic and tactical solutions were also developed to coordinate efforts across ecosystem stakeholders to create a more effective climate tech innovation ecosystem and sustain growth of innovation long-term.
Since carrying out these initiatives, international awareness and VC investment into New Zealand climate tech innovators has increased significantly, and momentum in the sector in New Zealand has grown.
