Anthony joined Cleantech Group in late 2019 after over 8 years of work in US-China cross-border expansion consulting and start-up venture funding roles, including 5 years living in Shanghai.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Rhode Island, a Masters in Sustainability from the Harvard Extension School, and he an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

Koh Chong Hin leads Xylem’s business in the Southeast Asia region.  He is responsible for driving business growth across Xylem’s wide portfolio of water technology solutions, including a new portfolio of decision intelligence tools.  Xylem’s vision is to help create a world in which water challenges are no longer a barrier to human health, environmental sustainability, or prosperity.

Prior to joining Xylem, Mr. Koh was the Director for Industrial Technology at ZF Asia Pacific covering the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.  He also held various Sales and Business Development roles at Rolls-Royce plc and started his career at the Singapore Economic Development Board.

Mr. Koh earned a Master of Engineering degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has lived and worked in Germany and the United Kingdom.

Clive Ye

Clive Ye is the Senior Investment Manager at Mana Impact, an impact investment advisory firm with a focus on nature-positive businesses. Clive is responsible for managing investment due diligence, financial analysis, as well as conducting market intelligence research and portfolio management. He is passionate about identifying opportunities at the intersection between business and society.

Prior to joining Mana, Clive worked at Invesco in Hong Kong, rotating across the Asia Pacific, Greater China CEO office and Global ESG team. He has also spent four years with AVPN and the Singapore International Foundation to catalyze social investments in Asia. More recently, he gained operating experience working as Head of Finance in an energy storage start-up and as Head of ESG solutions in an alternative data company. Clive began his career as a management consultant at PwC Singapore.

Clive graduated from Yale School of Management with an MBA. He also holds an MSc from Singapore Management University and a BEng from Harbin Institute of Technology, China.

Ethan Zhu

Ethan Zhu, graduated from Zhejiang University, majored in Information Engineering, then achieved the EMBA at Fudan University.

Ethan has more than 20 patents in technical field of invention. With over 15 years of R&D and product manager work experience. He was previously employed by Huawei, Ceno, Marconi (London) and TVU (Silicon Valley), has overseas project execution and market development capabilities. He gained his rich experience on startup management within a smart home IoT company as co-founder (2010-2013).

Now CEO of Enjoyelect, a visionary and pioneering sustainable energy service company based on energy AI and battery AI.

Garrett Boudinot is the founder and CEO of Vycarb, an early-stage startup on a mission to empower the world with high-quality, high-impact carbon dioxide removal. Climate change has been the sole focus of Boudinot’s career, from carbon chemistry and ecosystem impacts to social adaptation and wildlife conservation. Boudinot earned his Ph.D. at the University of Colorado, holds dual bachelor’s degrees in humanities and environmental geosciences from the College of Charleston, and served as a research associate at Cornell University.

Hataikan currently serves as the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Group Strategy, Sustainability, and Innovation at Thai Wah. In this role, she offers strategic guidance to propel the organization’s growth and spearheads initiatives to expand sustainability within the Agri-food business.

With an extensive professional background spanning over 17 years, Hataikan has garnered diverse experience in various industries, including Financial Services, Technology, Retail, and Business Consulting. Prior to her tenure at Thai Wah, she held the position of Head of Strategy at Tesco. In this capacity, she helped define strategic propositions aligned with consumer needs and market opportunities.

Since joining Thai Wah in 2019, Hataikan has been instrumental in piloting and scaling multiple advanced analytics and bio-agri-tech innovations across Southeast Asia. She is passionate about building sustainability throughout the entire value chain, from farm to shelf.

Holly Stower

Holly is a Senior Associate leading Resources & Environment research at Cleantech Group and is based in the UK. She is focused on emerging innovation and trends, including those in water, waste, the circular economy, natural resources, and corporate sustainability. ​

Prior to joining Cleantech Group, Holly was a Public Affairs & Communications Executive with the Solar Trade Association and the Association of British Insurers. Before this, Holly worked in advocacy for climate and wildlife charities. ​

Holly earned an Undergraduate and a Master’s in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia.

Ian is a Senior Associate leading Materials & Chemical research at Cleantech Group and is based in the UK. He is an engineering and business professional with a passion for technology, innovation and the environment. Ian is experienced in strategy, marketing, business support, and R&D activities​.

Prior to joining Cleantech Group, Ian held several roles at Exergy, including Business Process Improvement Manager, Chemical Process Engineer, and Chemical Research Engineer.  ​

Ian earned an MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester​ and a BSc in Biomedical Science from The University of Sheffield.

Johnathan is a principal at bp ventures, based in London, UK where he focuses on investments in both gas & low carbon, and production & operations.

Johnathan has fifteen years’ experience with bp in subsurface and innovation, beginning his career in North Africa and the Middle East before moving into technical leadership roles based in both Indonesia and the UK. Inspired by the need to accelerate solutions to achieve a net zero, low carbon world, Johnathan pursued a career in venture capital.

He has a degree in environmental geology and a master’s in geophysics from the University of Leeds.

Julien is an Operating Partner at Eurazeo, a global investor in technology with offices in Paris, London, Berlin, NY, Shanghai, Seoul and Singapore. Eurazeo is currently the largest venture capital firm in continental Europe and active in Asia with approximately €3.6 bn in venture and growth capital and  €22bn overall with additional activities in private debt and private equity 

Julien deploys Smart City Fund II in China and Asean region which is focused on the digital convergence of smart city sectors: new energy, mobility, industry 4.0, property, deeptech. Smart City II launched in January 2021 with a 1^st closing at €80m and is already supported by 10 corporate and institutional investors in Europe  and Asia. The fund is expected to reach  €200m by the end of 2021.

To date, Julien has invested in digital technologies with global reach in China, Asean, Europe and the US: WeRide.ai (Driverless taxis, China), DST Car (EV Logistics, China), Grab (Rides, payments, deliveries, Singapore), Immotor (e-scooter battery exchanges, China), Neurala Inc. May Liew

May is a Director in the Investment Group at GenZero, and she is responsible for investments in technology-based decarbonisation solutions.

Before GenZero, she was Head of Sustainability and Innovation at SP Group, a leading utilities company in Asia Pacific. There, she led several key initiatives in energy transition, including strategising its sustainability focus on UN Sustainable Development Goals, investing in cutting edge sustainable technologies and venture-building of innovative business models. Her achievements include incubating and building the world’s first blockchain-powered Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) platform to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy.

She also worked at J.P. Morgan’s investment banking arm, in their New York and Hong Kong offices, where she executed strategic business reviews and capital markets transactions across fast-changing economic conditions. May started her career as a financial analyst with Fidelity Investments and with the private equity fund investments team at Temasek.

May graduated from the Boston University with a Master of Business Administration.

Michael Toh

Michael is currently Director of Industry & Technology Collaboration Department in PUB. As part of PUB’s Senior Management team, he leads PUB’s effort to grow water technologies by working and collaborating with the global water industry and stakeholders; and bring discoveries made in the lab to industrial application as quickly as possible, so that PUB and the rest of world can benefit from these cutting-edge research. Michael and his teams are also responsible for the smooth running and operations at PUB’s Singapore Water Exchange – the global marketplace for innovative water companies and technologies; as well as the successful organisation of the Singapore International Water Week – the global platform to share and co-create innovative water solutions.

Prior to this appointment, Michael was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of PUB. This new and expanded position in PUB reflects the increasingly critical role that IT and cybersecurity play to support PUB’s organisational and operational needs. Besides ensuring a reliable & secure ICT infrastructure throughout PUB so that efficient and effective services are provided, Michael was responsible for the development of SMART technologies across PUB; and the implementation of robust cybersecurity strategies and measures to safeguard PUB’s operations. Before that, he also served as the Director of Water Supply Network Department, which is responsible for the planning, development, operations and maintenance of the water supply network; as well as the management of water demand in Singapore.

Michael also served in Singapore’s Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources (MEWR) as the Director of the 3P Network1 Division. In this role, he led the public communication engagements as well as managed initiatives for quality service excellence.

Michael was the first Managing Director of the Singapore International Water Week, which was established in 2008. He led the conceptualisation, planning and organisation of the event, which has since grown to become a global platform to co-create innovative water solutions.

Michael is the Managing Director and a Board member of PUB Consultants Pte Ltd2, as well as a Board member of Singapore International Water Week Pte Ltd. Michael is a Director on the Board of the Singapore Environment Council.

He received his Bachelor of Engineer (Honours) and MSc in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore and his MBA from Nanyang Technological University. Michael also attended the Advanced Strategic Management Programme at IMD Lausanne.

Mike is the MD of Trirec a Singapore based Cleantech focus fund. Mike has held various senior management role in investment banking and corporate specializing in fund raising, M&A and corporate strategy. He also co-founded several businesses in the IOT and future foods space. He is currently also a mentor of Innovate 360 a Singapore based Agrifood Tech incubator. Mike graduated from the National University of Singapore with a 2^nd class upper honor degree in Business Administration.

Nattawat joined GC in 2020. He drives corporate venture capital investments from thesis development and origination, through deal evaluation and execution. Om Kaosa-ard is the Head of Venture Capital of Innopower. Prior to Innopower, Om spent 13 years with SCG, one of the largest conglomerates in Thailand, then he moved to explore the startup and venture capital industry in many roles from Head of Thailand Operations of a SEA esports startup to the Head of Business Development & Growth at a Thai Fintech Startup. Om also advised on a few fundraising activities for Thai startups prior to his role at Innopower. Om and Athip overlapped and worked together at IRPC to drive the New Business Innovation Department. Even though a broad experience in many industries from Manufacturing, Real Estate, Energy, to Startups, Om mainly focus his work and expertise in corporate finance spectrum from Investment, Merge & Acquisition, Financial Budgeting, Cost Control and Business Development Projects for his entire career.

Om received MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 2011 and Bachelor of Engineering 2nd class honor from Chiangmai University. With over 25 years of working experience in the investment space, Peter is a veteran technology and impact investor with experience investing in both private and public companies across Asia, U.S. and Europe. As an early investor in the impact sector (water, energy and agriculture), Peter has led more than 20 deals in this area since 2003. Prior to entering the private equity sector, he was a highly ranked equity analyst at Morgan Stanley. Peter advises and sits on numerous boards in the water, technology, and agriculture/aquaculture sectors.

Priya has spent 16 years working across the finance, policy and venture sectors in the US, UK and Indian markets.  She is an early investor in India’s climate tech venture ecosystem, and she is also a Director on Sustainability Mafia, one of India’s largest climate founder coalitions.  She is actively involved as a mentor, advisor and thought leader with several think tanks, university labs, accelerator programs and foundations on climate tech innovation, a Board Member on the University of Cambridge’s Alumni Advisory Council and an advisor to Brown University’s Young India Leadership Council and Women’s Launchpad program.

Before Theia Ventures, she built as part of the founding team, the Indian Fund arm of Yunus Social Business (YSB), a global impact venture debt fund founded by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. Prior to YSB, Priya spearheaded strategy, capital raising and special projects at a clean-tech, venture-backed, growth-stage company, Simpa Networks.  She began her career at Bloomberg LP in New York and later at Asia House in London, and has led several independent consulting projects at impact start-ups and investment firms, such as Acumen and British International Investment.

She holds an MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School and a BA in History from Brown University, where she is closely affiliated with alumni initiatives on gender diversity, international scholarships and climate-focused entrepreneurship.

Richard has more than ten years’ experience researching cleantech innovation, venture capital markets, and start-ups across Europe and globally. He is a regular keynote speaker at major cleantech events and is the driving force behind the annual Global Cleantech 100, a list of the world’s most promising private cleantech companies.

Mr WONG Tien Loong is Director (Business) of the Technology Centre for Offshore and Marine, Singapore (TCOMS) since April 2022. His primary focus is to drive TCOMS’s industry collaborations and commercial activities, and position TCOMS as a national platform that harnesses the collective strengths of Singapore’s public research institutions to support Singapore’s Marine and Offshore Engineering, Maritime and other ocean-related sectors. The public institutions include the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) Research Institutes and Institutes of Higher Learning.

Tien Loong was previously Deputy Director of the Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC) in A*STAR from 2015 to 2024, responsible for public research strategies to grow Singapore’s Marine and Offshore Engineering sector. He played a key role in the successful funding of Singapore’s ocean basin facility leading to the establishment of TCOMS in 2016.

Before joining A*STAR, he held various industrial policy roles in Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry. He was also previously with the Singapore Economic Development Board and its investment arm, EDBi, where he focused on growing the Cleantech sector in Singapore.

Tulika is an experienced commercial leader who has led $2B worth of transactions including fundraising and large project investments. She has hands-on experience of developing and growing renewable energy companies, coupled with more than 10 years of experience in clean energy investments (from solar to wind developers at growth to exit stages), at major energy companies and renewable funds. Tulika holds a Bachelor Degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and an MBA from the London Business School. After a long career working for companies like Schlumberger, BP, Denham Capital and Octopus Investments, in 2020 she co-founded SunGreenH2.

SunGreenH2 is an award winning venture backed company transforming #greenhydrogen production from electrolysis with proprietary technology for high performance, low cost electrolyser components using advanced nanostructured materials.

Yong-Sang Choi

Dr. Yong-Sang Choi is a professor of Climate Physics in the Department of Climate and Energy Systems Engineering at Ewha Womans University, Korea. He is also an adjunct professor of the Interdisciplinary Program of Social Economics and CEO of RainbirdGEO, Inc., a social venture utilizing the Korean satellite remote sensing technology and disaster prediction algorithms to proactively alert and manage climate risks. He has received a Ph.D. at Seoul National University, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at MIT and a visiting professor at NASA JPL. His research deals with climate change and various global environmental issues. Recently he has spearheaded project such as the climate risk management modeling project (Frontier-1.5d) for major Korean private companies and the K-taxonomy supporting system (KTSS) project. To date, he has authored over 100 peer-reviewed papers in SCI journals including Natural Climate Change, Natural Communications, and PNAS.

Ying Staton

Ying Staton is the Chief Sustainability Officer at Plastic Energy. She also leads Plastic Energy’s corporate development in Asia, focusing on strategy, business development and finance, from the company’s Asian base in Singapore. She started her career in the British government, where she led research in 10 Downing St under Prime Minister David Cameron and served a number of roles in the UK Department for Transport and Department for International Development, including a year working with the UN on the predecessor to the SDGs and 2 years delivering UK aid programmes in Uganda. After leaving government, she was Head of Asia at strategic advisory firm Global Counsel for 6 years, where she advised multinational companies on cross-border trade and investment issues across Europe, Asia and Africa, with a focus on commodities and sustainability. Ying graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Classics and English from Oxford University and holds an M.A. in East Asian Studies from Yale University, where she was a Henry Fellow. She is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, and a CFA Level 2 candidate.
